Samsung Omnia I8910 Gold Edition Launched

Samsung have announced a new version of the Omnia HD, the I8910 HD Gold Edition.

The I8910 HD Gold Edition is a premium version of the Omnia HD with a new gold design and a package of special accessories.

The new design is available in a choice of two colors, Champagne Gold or Luxury Brown with both inlayed in 24 karat gold. The I8910 HD Gold Edition also comes with a leather case, mini-cradle and TV-out cable.

The original I8910 HD was an award winning mobile, which won best camera phone and was the words first mobile with 720p recording and decoding capability.

The Omnia HD Gold Edition also has 720p (HD) video capture and you can send HD content on your TV by using DLNA technology, which the phone supports.

The Omnia HD Gold Edition has a 16:9 with 16 million colours and dual stereo speakers to bring amazing multimedia playback on your mobile. The award winning 8 megapixel camera is also present with 16GB of internal memory to store your photos on. MicroSD support is also present, with support up to 48GB supported.

The I8910 HD Gold Edition has a 3.7 inch AMOLED display, HSDPA support and built in GPS.

The Samsung I8910 HD Gold Edition will be available from the second week in December Worldwide.

Book The Nokia E72 In India now

Nokia has finally announced the E72 for the Indian market at a MRP of Rs. 22989. Well now you guys can visit http://e72.nokialms.com and book you E72 before your friends get a hand on theirs. If you sign up the Nokia priority dealer will introduce the phone to you and keep one for you as soon it becomes available. So guys its a win- win situation so go on head to the site and book yours asap.

Flash Sony Ericsson P1i to WG1 and get firmware updates.

1. Download XS++ from this link.
2. connect your fone (remove batt, sim, mem card, reinsert battery, hold 'C' and connect) till all the comm ports are opened.
3. in XS++, check "Smartphone connect".
4. Click the "Connect" button.
5. After the initial prep happens, check GDFS below and backup GDFS.
6. After GDFS completes, disconnect fone, remove and reinsert battery, and restart XS++
7. Connect the fone again click the "Connect" button.
8. After the initial prep is over, on the drop down to the right, select P1 WG-1. and press run script, the process should only take few minutes.
9. If you want to flash it to W960i, select WG1 for W960i. (Haven't tested this yet)
10. Once the flashing completes, use the Sony Ericsson update service to upgrade the firmare. (do the usual remove batt, , reinsert battery, hold 'C' and connect for the upgrade).
